We are now doing in store registration for the 26th annual St. Patricks Day Dash.   Registration is $25 through Feb. 15th and $30 from Feb. 15th – March 11th.  You will recieve your shirt and race number when you register and a 10% discount on all regular priced merchandise at Run 26!

Come join us for our Team in Training Summer Season Kickoff Party on January 29th.  It will be held at the Seattle REI starting with an information meeting at 6pm followed by the party at 7pm.  This season’s events will be the Seattle Rock ‘n Roll Marathon and Half Marathon and San Diego Rock ‘n Roll Marathon and Half Marathon.  Team in Training is a great way to train for a marathon and raise money for a great cause!!

With some great weather and another well organized race, I had an amazing time yesterday out on the Seattle Marathon course.   Ran with a buddy in the half and saw lot’s of other friends along the way.  After finishing the half I met my wife Melody and we drove out to Leschi where we hooked up with a group of people from Team in Training walking the full marathon in memory of our TNT  friend Skip Sand who passed away last month.  Joined them for the last nine miles in what was a fun but emotional time.  Congratulations to all Half and Full Marathon finishers, you are incredible!!

Congratulations to the Everett CC cross country team for winning the Northwest Community College women’s and combined titles on Saturday!  It’s the first championship in any sport for Everett CC and Shawna Schooley (Davis HS ‘09) won the first individual title for the school in 30yrs.  Great job to both teams!

Run 26 was voted “Best Running Store” in King 5’s Best of Western Washington!  Thanks to everyone who voted, we really appreciate your support.

Longtime Team in Training participant and volunteer, Skip Sand, passed away from his leukemia last week.  He was such a big part of TNT it will be very difficult not having him around next season.  This is the third honored participant that has passed away since I started coaching TNT 8 seasons ago.  Gives me even more motivation to have a successful Summer season and help do my part in battling this disease.  If you would like to get involved, click on the Team in Training link to the right of the page to find out more.

Jackson High School boys xc team ranked #1 in the nation!

Everett CC teams did great at the Willamette Invite. Girls finished 9th and was the top CC team, boys finished 10th and was 2nd CC team with 3 of our top 4 runners not running.

Went to watch Tyler run xc race. His elementary school, Shelton View, has over 80 kids on the team! Tyler placed 21st out of about 60 kids and he had a great time.
